Damn straight

Here a great article that reminds me why we should all be proud to call ourselves feminists. We have benefited enormously from the courageous advocates who came before us, and let's not forget there is still so much work to be done.

Turning the soil

This quote is particularly meaningful to me and I hope others will appreciate its honesty as we work to be better people and good parents: "The thing about being an anti-racist parent is that you have to be brave. You have to keep pulling out the roots that are embedded in your own heart. It’s like one of those garden weeds that you can’t smother or yank or poison. You have to keep turning the soil and taking it out piece by piece with great determination, honesty and courage.
