Hello all,
Yesterday was a day to celebrate for those of us concerned about promoting tolerance and peace in our great nation. Our nation's first black president was re-elected, ballot measures allowing same-sex marriage were approved in two states, and the latino vote emerged, again, as a key deciding factor in the election. We are an increasingly diverse nation, and rather than turning inward and defensive about that, I believe the forces of light prevailed yesterday.
A round of applause for all those who work hard to promote values of inclusiveness and understanding. The wind is at our backs and today I feel very positive about the direction in which we are heading.
all the best,
Ingrid

It is one very modest contribution I can make to encourage a more just world.
